Half ze Time

So I've been thinking quite a lot and I have a whole list of things to do for my tua day. Actually not to celebrate but to liberate myself before I get hitched. And since I'm turning 26 years old next year, I'm intending to do 26 things or so before I get married. My intention is very simple, I will get things done mostly on 19th of every month and reward myself with a cake after that :p kidding! I just need to do something stupid and adventurous knowing that I can't do all these (most of it) after marriage. I wanted to go holiday so badly after Hong Kong even though I've vouched an oath  promised myself that I wouldn't go for any travelling coz I need to save money for my wedding and yada2. I was hopping that I can tag along for school's overseas trip but NOPE, my principal didn't approve just because I'm non teaching staff and whatnots. So I told my family we are going for a holiday, last holiday with my family before everything starts to hectic and chaotic. My mom was agreed until the last minute, she didn't want it because she said she wants to save the money for my wedding and she got no leave, and my 3rd brother is not confirm on his school holidays because of FYP yada2 until I told them I'm gonna treat them flight and accommodation. I helped out my friend to do her photo booth for her wedding, mostly did my own from the backdrop and the Guestbook itself. The signs? I bought from From Fran With Love. Another friend told me it's quite a little bit expensive but I don't care coz I malas nak design my own and cut and laminate okay. yes, $3 per stick is damn expensive but who cares? Alhamdulillah thumma alhamdulillah. I can't believe it myself that I'm actually gonna get married next year around this time. I'm gonna be someone else's and that time will change as the status changes. It's like a fantasy that I'm engaged for 8 months now and I'm left with 365 days. This thing actually dah stuck in draft for too long and I think it's the best time to publish it now. I love to travel and somehow am very anal with travelling itinerary and visits. So for honeymoon, am planning to go a little bit later, maybe around 2 weeks or 1 month later. No need to be immediate as am scared that I will be too exhausted to enjoy the honeymoon. I love to travel but hate the travelling time, be it taking bus or plane. It just makes me bored and fidgeting. I guess I'm a little ADHD where I can't really stay still and my attention span is too short. So I've planned to go somewhere near which isssss.......cannot tell uh. Surprise :p First things first: Budget . How much you willing to splurge. For me basically is that you can't have cheap motels and cheap honeymoon. Hi all! I'm sure some of you who reads this blog would want to know what plays in my mind when I'm getting engaged. Well, if you must know, I only get to know my fiance for 2 months and we were engaged. Quite hectic to plan so much even though it was just a small ceremony. Because my family was quite big (my aunts and cousins are all there), we had to give a feast of 200 pax and mom exaggeratedly cooks nasi tomato with daging korma and all. Oh so much hassle. So yes, planning for the engagement was something hectic. Waht I didn't know of is that planning the wedding is tiring too. With all the vendors that I need to liaise with and the dates and appointments. Here's some heads up for those who have already confirmed the date of your wedding day. Hey guys! The best part about this week that I'm looking forward to is the NATAS Fair at expo! Yeay! Nak book for  travel  honeymoon can? Actually nak survey2 aje and see what's good for me.
