Birthday Surprise!

Image
MY BALI VIDEO IS RUINED ALL THANKS TO FINAL CUT PRO AND UPDATE OF THE NEW IOS!!! I have to buy iMovie to do it as the previous owner doesn't have it. Might as well I just do it on my phone right since its free on it? 🤔🤔 Anyways, my colleagues did a great job of preparing my birthday surprise during the CNY luncheon. We had our CNY lunch at Bali Thai at One KM (ikr! gave me the chills). To our surprise our Laoshi doesn't know how to eat or do Yu Sheng so we cancelled order. I brought only 2 oranges to gave it to her but I guess our traditions/customs in Singapore and China is totally different (and she's Atheist anyways, so if you ask her about hungry ghost festival or whatever, she would say in China they never practice such thing. Even wearing Qipao/Cheongsam is actually not a thing). Skali baru ingatlah China kan bekas communist, mane ade agama nye orang. chettt. Anywhooooossss!!! I is so happy I got Victoria Secret from my ladies in the ho

Happy 28th!

My birthdays generally will not be having any parties or surprises from anyone. Usually just my mom buys cake or  bakes the cake or  cooks delicious meals or  we eat out  But this year was a bit different because mom said there's nothing to be happy about because im going to reach tiga puluh sen soon. I just brought my parents to the nearest mall to get lunch (was supposedly to eat cake at Noosh coz they were having half price that week but mom said it was too far out). Turns out to be a sourplum because of a conversation (dont worry, we didnt quarrel or anything. its just emotional i guess) A forgotten my birthday and bought cakes on the wrong day. He then bought on the correct day which turns out he finished it all. hahah. I was a bit sulking (because I made his birthday bash awesome and he did say he wanted to bring me to staycation which ended up not happening because there's family event involves staycation too on the following week) but he comforted me to go t

Long overdue Vietnam post

Image
Since I've got back my laptop, now I will start to craft about Vietnam. First and foremost, it wasn't the bestest trip because I'd realized that we did not calculate our money for the trip properly and THIS trip made A lost interest in travelling because it was his first trip to a non-halal country. You see, we got different views of travelling. A's type is vacation, luxury, good food and private pool. For me, I don't care much about the hotel or food but mine to the sightseeing and activities we are doing. So combined together, with tight budget (I'll tell you at the end of the blog), we ended up scrapping a lot of things from the initial plan. You can read my previous post on how we initially planned. This post will tell you about the planned and the real deal. We love Da Lat but people there dont know how to converse in English and ZERO halal food. We were ripped off when we landed in Da Lat airport thinking of taking taxi to our hotel from th

1 year anniversary trip

Image
It's funny how people keep on asking about your anniversary and how do you spend it. It's more surprising that people asked how come I never go on that day and just travel nearby. I didnt know there's a benchmark for 1st year anniversary nor have to do something special for that date. Little did I know that it is a normto make a trip just because it's our anniversary. Hahah. Actually I dah plan nak pergi Istanbul (mcm nak buat Istanbul Aku Datang or Manisnya Cinta di Cappadocia ), London or Europe tour but after so much incidents about Islamophobia especially in France, and prior to that were the bombing in Istanbul and France, I told myself just go for the safer and nearer. And I just changed job, again, I don't have enough off days to go anywhere. So redha jelah kan. Mr A initially suggested to go back to Lombok coz we didn't explore that much during honeymoon. Tak tau lah mcm mane he wanted to go for Bali which I was a bit reluctant coz its majority

First Anniversary!

Happy First Anniversary to us!! Time pass us by so fast that I can't believe that we had gone through ups and downs together and the honeymoon period still lingers. The most important thing is that we are planning for another trip (delayed anniversary trip, that is!). Yeah people keep on asking why I didn't go on the day itself, why postponed it to a later date. First, I just changed job, so my probation is until 20 September. Haha! That's why we postponed it. Secondly, we both didn't think to take an off day on the sacred day, so we both just spend time together after work which were Seoul Garden and then watched Train to Busan. *hint hint*  But that will be my birthday trip next year. Woohoo!! This Deepavali, we will be going to Bali! Actually we wanted to go Lombok again, but I guess we both wanted to do something more such as the SeaWalker and Tanah Lot. Got great deals of a great driver. All set and ready to go! Am so excited for Korea too as we will be spending
