hijab problem
with all the controversy about hijabis, i want to talk more on the fashion of hijabi itself.
i want to talk about the hijab itself and not the fashionable clothing that they are wearing.i think most of you should know about covering your body and dress modestly.
Hijab in Wikipedia means curtain or cover (noun).
Most Islamic legal systems define this type of modest dressing as covering everything except the face and hands in public.
According to Islamic scholarship, hijab is given the wider meaning of modesty, privacy, and morality; the words for a headscarf or veil used in the Qur'an arekhimār (خمار) and Jilbaab(جلباب), not hijab. Still another definition is metaphysical, where al-hijab refers to "the veil which separates man or the world from God."
So what if that a lady wears something that is very bold or too fashionable on their head as a headgear?
and is it not defeats the purpose of wearing a hijab but you wearing it boldly or fashionable?
I am too a lady and loves fashion, nice and beautiful things. I understand all those needs but can we say that we have strict rules and regulations on our attire.
I am not an ustazah but at least spread the news on things that is already haram in Islam as hijabi.
do remember, wearing a hijab is not to attract people to look at you but wear it modestly and respectfully. insyaAllah biiznillah everything will be better :)
