DIY Veil

Image
Ever think that if you want to buy veil mcm susah and tak worth it? Nak rent pun dgn sape kan? How about you DIY your own veil to suit your preference? Before anything, just understand the type of veils that you are looking for: After that, you buy your fabric. For me I love chiffon rather than net, so just buy cheap ones at Arab St kedai apek also can. And also lace and/or beads. Then lay it flat and cut it. Usually in semi circle, jadi nanti cantik kalau dah pakai Something like this. You also can have the more beads at you head area More beads pun boleh jugak For me, mine is vey simple as the lace is very heavy beading. I like the lace to be long so that when I wear it nampak more elaborated gitu Sneak peak! Yeah, malas nak pakai anak tudung, I had to draw very ugly ninja for now. As for the sides, you just jahit tangan selembat and put the beads to cover out the selembat. So nampak lagi kemas :)) Enjoy trying ladies!

DIY Bunga Rampai

Image
To think about it, I really love DIY stuff especially about wedding. The excitement and satisfaction are way beyond words especially when the day has come and I will be super excited when the guests appreciates all of it :) My mom and I was wondering about the tempat bunga rampai for guests who are going to attend the solemnization and I told her just to buy it at Joo Chiat like the one during my engagement but my mom said she wanted to do it, adding the sentimental value to it. We were thinking of the tanjak type but it's not that feasible as the bunga rampia will spillover and the bottom part like berlobang. So we came out with the idea bakul! Got this old school handkerchiefs from Joo Chiat. I heard Chinatown also selling these. JB also have but the quality isn't that good.   A handkerchief basket filled with bunga rampai, how awesome is that. And it didn't take that long to do all of it though. I can finish like 8 baskets in 1 hour. I like

Hand bouquet, checked!

It's nearly a month since I've updated. I can't imagine that my life right now is so hectic with work and all. But alhamdulillah, my list of things to do for the wedding day is getting lesser and lesser. I try to do as many things on my own as possible. DIY, not just to save money but also to give a kind of sweet memories and effort in the process of being a bride. Today's post will be mainly on my own hand bouquet. I get the inspiration from my cousin who bought it from a vendor and it looks beautiful. So I've decided, why not I do it myself since it is so damn expensive and doable, might as well i do it right? With much procrastination, I can actually finish up within 2 months but because it was my first time doing it, it too me time to buy things, and if tak cukup, I have to go and buy again. I really love the end of it. I'll show you how it is done from Youtube and also Pinterest :) I had a sample of something that I want my bouquet to be

Bismillah! Happy new year!! Am so looking forward to this year because of the big event and the life changing phase. And today marks exactly 8 months the day. And we celebrated 1 year of our engagement on 29th Dec :) I can't believe it myself that I only have 8 months and less to prepare everything for my wedding. Itinerary is done, some how, my parents and I agreed on doing the solemnization at 11 am at the mosque.  So what am I busy with for the past 1 year? Mostly I'm doing DIY stuff like this  ↓ Centre pieces for my tables. Specialized quotes from Quran & Hadith. And a doa too for us :) The front The back Nice right? I bought the frames at Ikea, 90 cents per piece. The flowers and other stuff will be provided by the caterer. Other DIYs projects will be in other posts as it needed their own. This one, is just purely Photoshop. So, from here, you might know what's my theme colour. Hehe. And my date. Oh sp

photobooth - saya buat

I helped out my friend to do her photo booth for her wedding, mostly did my own from the backdrop and the Guestbook itself. The signs? I bought from From Fran With Love. I every blogged about her before with her super awesome service. Another friend told me it's quite a little bit expensive but I don't care coz I malas nak design my own and cut and laminate okay. yes, $3 per stick is damn expensive but who cares? I can reuse it until it distorted.hahahah. and yeah, I didn't take the picture of the photo booth *slaps myself* but my friend took a picture of the backdrop and on the day itself.   oh oh and my mom bake her hantaran cake, Cath Kidston inspired. and for those who love photo booth concept, you may try these vendors! :) https://www.facebook.com/peekabooth.sg https://www.facebook.com/oneeyeclicklive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9V-UuHgOyg
