KL Adventures - Before Covid pandemic saga

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم The Covid (or back then we were calling Wuhan virus) came to our shores on 23 Jan but it was contained. Not much news and spreading were low, so we still proceed with our travel plans  to KL for my cousin's wedding from 20 - 23 February. We were very cautious about it too, wearing masks on flight and sanitized everything on plane (at that point of time, it was not a thing. wearing mask is a taboo that only sick people have to wear and hand sanitizer or washing hands were not a norm). The itinerary: Thursday Landed KL, go to Astaka Moroccan at PJ Check-in at Vortex KLCC apartment, shopping at Perdana Wait for my brothers to come, go I-City   Dinner at Tapak Friday Lunch at Rebung restaurant by Chef Mail   We came late and it was already tea time! Went to Boat Noodle at SOGO Friday prayers shopping at Mid Valley/ Berjaya Times Square/ KLCC/ Pavillion/ Bukit Bintang Dinner at Tapak with cik Asmah family Go rumah Kak Diana Saturday The wedding, 9am nikah, recept

KLCalling

So we decided to ditch our 2 days 1 night Cameron trip due to the landslide.bohoo! But overall, we had a splendid night at KL with all the shopping, cafe hunting, screaming and having stupid moments. Thank to Nani's beau and my cousin whom are so enthusiastically participating and become our driver for the day. The SOLO Trip

To some, making my way to Kuala Lumpur doesn't seem to be a big deal but to me it is because it was first ever solo trip. That's right, I made my way all alone to Kuala Lumpur despite asking few friends to join my short getaway. OK, elaborate the first day experience on this post. 10th June 2011 As usual, my day was pretty fine at work but I just can't  wait to reach home and do last minute preparation, checking on items and spend my last few days with my love ones. Made my way to Lavender Mrt Station to take the coach to KL and i made it on time. Quite scared because i never took train at 11pm and asked the mrt guy whether there is any train service available. Then there was a "crazy" guy talking very loudly about Singapore will sink soon, truck by tsunami after Japan's hit, world's coming to an end and about Jesus. Very disturbing scene to the normal Singaporeans as they always treat this time of people as crazy people and they will like look at
