OUR home (FINALLY!!)

Image
Alhmadulillah I can't keep this quiet and under a secret. WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! Like finally! After 4 years of staying at my MIL's place, I finally have my own place to stay. I won't tell you the story of our house hunting as I have mentioned it here previously. We went to see a bunch of other houses from our agent's listing but mostly not to our liking. Either the corridor was too busy with too many neighbours, too far from bustop, main road, shops and everything. Or good location but too expensive but very minimal home condition. I believed that everything happen for a reason and perfect timing. So here are the details: $420k. No COV Tampines St 83 4A model 109 sqm Corner - having 3 neighbours only Fully furnished with aircons in all 3 rooms, oven, water heater, 1 build-in wardrobe in master bedroom Toilet HIP (Home Improvement programme) done and paid I only took few pictures when we were there. And they are quite nice to give us

Fertility Diet

Image
Hi everyone! I've been too busy with so many things going around at the same time and almost forgotten about this. I've tried to do a lot of research on fertility diet and I find it the hardest for me to do. haha. All the yummy and fatty stuff are too tempting definitely. Here's a great video (and I have yet to try! opss :p) The challenge is for 21 days. We have 5 important things you should add to your current diet EVERY SINGLE DAY. We call these the Important 5. The Important 5 1. Drink 1 quart of water first thing in the morning. You can add squeezed lemon to this if you would like. 2. Drink 1 fertility smoothie every day. The fertility smoothie should contain at least one fertility superfood (maca, spirulina, FertiliGreens, royal jelly, etc.) 3. Eat one big green salad per day. 4. Eat one dark leafy vegetable every day. Swiss chard, kale, spinach, etc. 5. Drink one green juice every day. (If you are not able to get a juicer you can replac

A degree experience

How was a degree experience at 30 and doing it part-time? Alhamdulillah I love the RMIT concept where the distributed the percentages and weightage of exams, individual and group assignment so that we can score. I can roughly gauge my scores and study hard for my exams or if I scored well for my assignments, I can chill for my exams. Here's one of my assignments that I have to present in a video form. My previous modules also got movie screening which my character was very small in it. You can check out the link here as it is not on Youtube. https://drive.google.com/open?id=17Sx_G7kF-JcBQMq6Qv8bLe65MjUN9Qtj If you are interested in my school blog, you can drop by geekbusinessstudent.wordpress.com  Please drop and comment on my blog too as it contains marks for me too! But on the hind side, I've been experience in a not so nice group assignment when some students are slackers, sent assignment after deadline with penalties of their work but they still could pass t

Finding a home

Image
OMG I can't tell you enough how stressful I am during this searching ad looking for resale flat. K Back story a bit. We applied 2 SBF and 1 BTO just beside the Temasek Poly AND GOT REJECTED WITHOUT A NUMBER. And am so furious already so we decided to get resale flat. And my heart has been cheated 5 times after falling for the home and loving it. THEN, the problem starts to arise. Cannot go lower to our ideal price, house in very bad conditions with hacked rooms and store room, no HIP toilets, cannot pay using CPF and bla3. It is supposed to be 3 months process once we set the deal and yet, it was very hard for us. Firstly, we found our perfect home, ground floor with high windows and near my MIL place. But, the owner doesn't want to lower the price of the house when the house condition needs too many revamping (kitchen cabinets are great but the ceiling has molds and the waterproofing has worn off, window grills were in original condition a.k.a. rusty and out of date.
