The Travel Tag

I'm so honoured to be tagged my cousin, Nyna  coz I didn't expect it and I don't really travel that much so my experience is very limited. Haha! Anyways...   What made you start traveling? I can't really remember but it was quite young and my parents are the type who are very kamikaze. My dad ever came home and said "My leave is approved, let's pack our bags and go" without even planning. Haha! I think, from there onwards, I have that adventurous travelling in my mind. I started travelling with my best friends to Perhentian Island in 2012. It was the longest bus ride I had but the trip was heaven. We saw shooting stars and had a great time snorkelling! After subuh, we immediately go for a swim   Where was your first plane ride to? I think I was six when I had the first plane ride. It was Singapore Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. I only remember I had orange juice and muffin on flight. That's all.  Seaplane ride at Bintan

Staff Retreat - Pulai Spring Resort

Another long due blog from May. I kept all these pictures nearly a year just to blog! Haha! The idea of this retreat was to just escape work , especially during my high tide season where all stuff were basically shoved to me due to passing on of my HOD. It was conducted during a normal school days, a 2-days-1-night trip to Johor (Pulai Spring Resort, like woahh right?) on a Thursday and Friday. Apelagi, since it's fully paid by my company, I just go. Without realizing it was a retreat, rather than a vacation or time-off from work or what. Only when we were half way through the day, we search for the meaning of retreat *haiz*, and regretted it. Retreat means:  A  place   affording   peace,   quiet,   privacy,  or  security.   See   Synonyms  at  shelter . A  period  of  seclusion,   retirement,  or  solitude. A  period  of  group   withdrawal   for   prayer,   meditation,  or  study:   a  religious   retreat. Why did we regretted it? We were seated in a functional room

Hello Kityy Run - A wet kitty disaster

Image
Hi all! I almost forgot about the Hello Kitty Run went. From scale 1 to 10 out of the awesomness, I would give 3 meows of awesomeness. Why? The reasons why there should be no more Hello Kitty Run or they should change organizers: They didn't pre-amp us there were different flag-off timing. Or maybe they just decided there and then since it was like what, 13k pax? There's no contingency plan on wet weather. They didn't brief us on where to go and seek shelter if there's rain. The ending point and tentage meeting area and collection of medals and food and drinks were very disorganized. I'm an events planner and handling that much of crowd with that small tent, it can't fit everyone. And most of them wanted to be under the tent because it was raining, no one wants to be at the carnival area all wet and sandy. Medal collections must have a separate booth so that they can mark the runners tag and gave them the medals to avoid duplication. What happen was a
