The baby journey

Bismillah. Today, I would like to share with all of you on my (our) journey of having a baby. After so long I have been contemplating to share with people whether it is too personal or is it good to share with people on the same boat as me. People tend to ask me whether are we practicing family planning, which I would flipped. I AM NOT ON ANY BIRTH CONTROL and we are readily wanting a baby. I have always wanted a big family like mine, close knitted and so fun to have so many siblings around. I have 4 younger brothers and my maternal side consist of 45 cousins altogether age ranges from 10 years older and 15 years younger than me. My cousins are my first best friends since I don't have sisters. I even told my cousins that I want to have kids as soon as possible and maybe have 2 kids before 30. I got married at late 26 and my birthday is in January so I tend to grow older faster. I "planned" that I would have 2 or 3 kinds before 30 because of age factor. We tried

Being 29

Hi Assalamualaikum everyone! Term 1 has passed and now I am trying to finish up my work for the whole of Term 1 and moving on to Term 2. Having birthday in January just keeps me in the order manner of school calendar and remind myself to take a break here and there. Being 29, I felt super energetic and hyped up to get things done in my bucket list, which right now I am feeling burnout because of those goals and my work as well.   Things I have done so far:  Applied house and talked to an agent regarding house value in Singapore  Enrolled driving license and waiting for my practical theory test and practical lessons  Enrolled a ladies bookclub + spiritual enhancement  Went to fertility clinic in government hospital and my aunt saw us *yikes*  Enrolled a 2 year degree programme which is starting in July! And yeay we are going for a staycation soon as both A and I are very tired from our work and we just want to relax and have fun. It's too tiring to become and

January flies! in a blink of an eye

After much reflection, I did hell a lot of things in January. Being 29, I've 1. Applied my Class 3A (auto car license) on 29th Jan 2. Went KKH to get myself checked on 1 Feb 3. Got to know we didn't get through our SBF because out of quota on 2 Feb 4. Working really hard on my Skarves branding and publicity and spamming and beautiful pictures 5. Did Pap Smear for the first time and the result is that I do not have Cervix cancer But really, January is the most hectic time of my life and as an admin in school. Most of the time, I am tired from work and can't do much after work. Right now I am pushing myself till the edge of my limit, I started to feel the burn out coming soon. I need to buy new phone or camera to do my vlogs soon. Really have a lot of things in my mind right now.

My 29th Birthday

I am not trying to make a big deal out of it since I got this video from A like 3 - 4 months before my birthday. hahah Yes! Birthday is not special coz everyone apparently has their birthday and to celebrate them *calls the haram police* IS HARAM. Okay too dramatic. I've watched one of the videos regarding Paganism of Birthday celebrations is that we are very vulnarable on our borthday because all the satan, evil spirits would want to get to you , so they have some offerings and lighting candles to ward away the evil spirits and satan. *but it didnt make sense coz satan is from fire, why would he felt that candles would burn them?* ENOUGH of that. I just want to have some fun (but with who?) coz A always had and having his reservist for 2 weeks (this coming is 3 weeks) during my birthday week. Paling best, he had to stay in and can't make it on my birthday. He didn't even make a big deal of my birthday because, like the video on top says: "Everyone has their o

Lasik journey

Bismillah. I am jotting this wayyy before just to keep the journaling and process clear. Please mind that this happened few months back and now, I am just rolling it out, to share with you my experience. Firstly why I chose Lasik Surgery with Prof Muhaya was that it was recommended by my cousin Nyna . You can read her journey here. People questioned like why I need to go all the way to KL and much more expensive rather than in Singapore. Well, we are saying about THE Dr Muhaya. She has her specialty and calmness and she puts on nasyid and selawats during the surgery. 31 Aug After consulting the husband and he said yes, I straight away emailed her office and ask for booking of dates. I am so confident about myself and I didnt expect the reply was very fast and efficient. The assistant booked me straight away and giving me very detailed advises which I understand fully. I am thankful of that. So I planned to fly to KL over the weekends to shop and go for eye check up on Mond

Just becoming: 29

While Adele had her albums titled as her age in trilogy, I would want to dedicate 2018 and 2019 with special title - Just Becoming: 29 and Becoming: 30 . Inspired by SOTA's Just Becoming and Becoming piece of graduating students dance performances, it seems there's more sense of purpose and more focus in whatever I am doing right now. So in a month's time, I will be celebrating my last 20s birthday, thus with much enthusiastically embracing it. I think now I have a different feeling and thinking of how I should run things, jotting my aspirations and ideas. I have chose a symbolic present for myself, a Pandora rose gold ring for my 29th birthday. To me, it symbolises maturity and strong headed woman. Oh and getting Google Pixel 2 phone for a switch from iPhone. It was a thing back then and I was looking forward to iPhone X but after my current phone's screen cracked, my heart shattered to pieces (what a PUN!) I have so many things to achieve and really want

5 things you need to know while buying Halal food Victoria, Australia

So there's quite a few of you asking me where did we went for our makan in Australia. And because our Airbnb is equipped with pots, pans and utensils, we mostly do our cooking in our kitchen. But basically you need to know these few things that you will be experiencing in while looking for food. As a person who came from Singapore, we are in luxury of halal food . Most multi-million food chains are halal certified  such as McDonalds, KFC, Long John Silver, Swensens and may more with this cute logo  that we have  and some certificate that they will display in their stalls or buffet spread like this   which state their expiry date and to which outlet and signed by our mufti. Each outlet meaning every McDonalds in Singapore need to have their own certificate for their own outlet. We can also patron halal food from our friendly makcik, indian muslims (mamak) or chinese muslims stalls which we know that they are Muslims and prepare and cooked by Muslim with halal ingredients.
